The obverse of the coin in the center there is the emblem of the Bank of Russia (the eagle with drooping wings, I. Bilibin). Up in a semicircle along the rim the inscription: "ДЕСЯТЬ РУБЛЕЙ" below "БАНК РОССИИ"(the inscriptions are separated by ornaments, consisting of five diamonds).
The reverse of the coin is the relief image of the plant for the manufacture of weapons (in the foreground a man and woman lay the shells, behind the crane, lifting the gun). On the right is part of a five-pointed star, over which the two lines with the date "1941 to 1945", below a branch of Laurel, below that is adjacent to the edge year of issue coins "1995". Left field of the coin is the mark of the Leningrad mint (stylized letters "ЛМД" deployed vertically. Up in a semicircle an inscription: "50 ЛЕТ ВЕЛИКОЙ ПОБЕДЫ"
The obverse and reverse of the coin features the speaker on the circumference of the piping.

During the great Patriotic war many enterprises were in the rear, was converted to the production of shells and weapons. Former automobile plants began to produce tanks and armored vehicles. The work went on day and night, employees worked 18 hours a day and even more often without any salary. Particularly large volumes of production was observed in Tula and Nizhny Novgorod.
