In the centre of the coin field in a circle, framed by Nosovym rim, is the relief picture of the emblem of the Bank of Russia - double-headed eagle with the lowered wings, under it an inscription a semicircle "БАНК РОССИИ" as well as on the circumference there are inscriptions, separated by dots: the denomination of the coin - "ТРИ РУБЛЯ"and the date "2014", between them bear the label of metal on the Periodic system of elements di Mendeleev, fineness, the trademark of the Moscow mint
and weight of precious metal in purity.
On the coin is the relief image of a temple of Prelate Nikolay Chudotvortsa, there are inscriptions: at the top in six lines - "ХРАМ СВЯТИТЕЛЯ НИКОЛАЯ ЧУДОТВОРЦА" below - "МОСКВА"
