relief image of a seated female figure, symbolizing Russia (a similar picture can be seen on the banknote 500 rubles 1912), in the background the gate and the building of the State Bank (Moscow, Neglinnaya str.). Circumferentially along the rim the inscription: "ДЛЯ ОЖИВЛЕНИЯ ТОРГОВЫХ ОБОРОТОВ И УПРОЧЕНИЯ ДЕНЕЖНОЙ КРЕДИТНОЙ СИСТЕМЫ"
On the obverse and reverse sides of the coins along the circumference there is a raised rim.
