On the yellow ring at the top circumference has a recessed inscription "ДРЕВНИЕ ГОРОДА РОССИИ" the bottom convex inscription "КАСИМОВ"between the two triangular cutouts.

Kasimov is located in the Ryazan region, was founded in the XII century. When Yuri Dolgoruky, the city became an important fortress of the Vladimir-Suzdal Principality. During the Tatar-Mongol rule was the residence of the Khan. There are monuments of Russian history and of the Tatar period.
