depicts a sculpture and an obelisk located in the Cemetery-the mausoleum of Warsaw, in the background the outlines of a modern city. At the top of a semicircle between two five-pointed stars and the inscription - "ВАРШАВА" beneath the image horizontally the date of the liberation of Warsaw - "17 ЯНВАРЯ 1945 г."
The obverse and reverse sides have a protruding on the circumference of the piping.
The coin was released August 1, 2016.
In early 1945, Soviet troops reached the territory of modern Poland and quickly moved West to the borders of Germany, freeing the path of numerous concentration camps and the city, January 17, was liberated Warsaw.
