depicts the sculptural composition "Tank battle of Prokhorovka. The RAM" (Belgorod region). On a circle the inscription: top - "КУРСКАЯ БИТВА" at the bottom in a smaller font - "ВЕЛИКАЯ ОТЕЧЕСТВЕННАЯ ВОЙНА 1941-1945 гг."(labels separated by five-pointed stars).
The obverse and reverse sides have a protruding on the circumference of the piping.

The battle of Kursk took place from July 5 to August 23 1943, the next phase of relief operations after the victory at Stalingrad. At first, it was the defense of Kursk, was surrounded by the German army, then was released the eagle, after which the fighting took place in the Belgorod and Kharkiv areas. July 12 was the famous battle of Prokhorovka (Belgorod region), is considered the most massive tank battle in history (from both sides attended by about 1,000 combat aircraft and 200 thousand soldiers). The result of the battle of Kursk was the distance of the front farther to the West and the advantage to the Soviet side.
