The obverse of the coin depicts in the middle the emblem of the Bank of Russia - double-headed eagle with drooping wings, above the emblem in a semi-circle along the rim stretches the name of the denomination of the coin "ОДИН РУБЛЬ" and at the bottom in a smaller font inscription "БАНК РОССИИ" also done on a circle with the same radius. Under the right paw of the eagle there is a small oval mark mint, which minted the coin (SPMD -
St. Petersburg). In the lower part of the coin field, displays the year of issue "2007", separated from the upper part of the figure by two horizontal lines, tapering to the edge, separated by a dot.
The reverse features a large numeral "1" is specified denomination, the figure is slightly offset from the Central axis to the left. Under the denomination of a word "РУБЛЬ" centered in relation to the nominal value. In the left, bottom and right parts of the field of the coin is the ornament of branches of plants.
