Coins of modern Russia

In 1992, the state Bank of the USSR was renamed into the Bank of Russia and received emblem - double-headed eagle without a crown on the figure of I. Y. Bilibin. Since that time, the emblem was placed on the front of all the state coins, on the reverse indicates the nominal value. In 1992 he issued coins from 5 to $ 100, which was in circulation along with coins of the USSR. In 1993, changing the metal, the drawings remain the same, and coins of the Soviet Union are excluded from treatment. Partially the coins of the first type was produced until 1996.
