Poltina with a portrait in clothing reminiscent of ancient armor, was produced in the years 1723-1725. Front and back of the braid is surrounded by a rim (partially or completely absent, this is not a marriage).
On the obverse is a portrait of Peter the Great in profile, face to the right. Of the circumference - "ПЕТРЪ • А • ИМПЕРАТОРЪ • IСАМОДЕРЖЕЦЪ ВСЕРОССИIСКИI"("Peter,Emperor and autocrat of all the Russias).
On the coin reverse in the center the emblem of Russia at the beginning of the XVIII century - double-headed eagle with outstretched wings, on the heads of the Royal crown, over which is the same, but larger. In paws the eagle holds the symbols of power - the scepter and Orb. The top of the circle marked with the coin denomination and year of issue "COIN NOVA PRICE POLTINA 1723".
