Description of coin Denga 1748 (lightweight):

The coin is struck on a thin blank, 3 times lighter than conventional money this year.

The obverse of the coin depicts a simplified coat of arms of the Russian Empire first half of the eighteenth century (without a shield on the chest and no tape Andreevsky order) - double-headed eagle with outstretched wings, on the heads of the Imperial crown, over which is the same, but larger. In paws the eagle holds the symbols of power - the scepter and Orb.

The reverse of the coin depicts a shield with floral ornaments around the outlet at the top. In the middle of the shield in an oval frame in three lines specify the denomination and year of minting - "DE NMU 1748". Between the face value and year of a double horizontal line.
