Description of coin 2 kopecks 178.:

Trial coin with partial date and without letters mint.

The obverse of the coin shows the monogram of Catherine II of the letters of the "I"(Empress), "Е"(Catherine) and Roman numerals "II" Upstairs the Imperial crown. The sides of the year, is divided into two parts - "17" and "8.". Image is surrounded by two branches connected at the bottom with a bow.

The reverse of the coin depicts George on horseback spearing a snake-like dragon with wings. At the bottom of a semicircle stretching tape with a nominal value of "ДВЕ КОПЕЙКИ"
