The coin of this denomination with the portrait of Catherine II was issued in 1726 and 1727, without any varieties. The circumference of the front and reverse sides of the coins there is a rim consisting of teeth (may be partially or completely absent).On the obverse
is a portrait of Catherine I in profile, face to the right. In a circle the inscription, divided into two parts - "•ЕКАТЕРИНА• IМПЕРАТЪ• IСАМОДЕРЪ• ВСЕРОСIСКАЯ"(stands for Catherine, Empress and autocrat of all Russias).On the reverse
in full growth depicts the Apostle Andrew against the background of the cross with his outstretched right hand. The Holy stands on a base made in the form of a rectangle. In a circle there are inscriptions (starting from below): "МОНЕТА НОВА ЦЕНА ДВА РУБЛI 17 26"(the year of issue, divided into two parts and the face value).
