Орешников А.В. Русские монеты до 1547 г.
The first edition of the book
Alexey Oreshnikov V. (1855-1933) - Russian and Soviet numismatist. In 1875-1878 the years he lived abroad, but after returning from a certain merchant purchased a collection of ancient coins. From that time began his passion for numismatics, and after 5 years, he was elected a member of the Moscow Archaeological Society. The most famous work of A. V. Oreshnikov is the systematization of Russian coins of the period of dissociation from the collection of the Imperial Historical Museum (now historical Museum), on the basis of this in 1896 was published the first edition of the book "Russian coins before 1547". In this article the pages of the book disassembled by periods for readability.

To view pages click on the number. Pages have not been processed and completed and submitted in precisely the form in which the book was published in 1896. Additional materials you can see pictures of the described coins (in the book there are footnotes on these photos).
